Shale, found windows, display case and audio,
A sculpture using pieces of shale collected from the binges near Broxburn, Scotland juxtaposed against a set of found windows from the streets of Glasgow. The audio playing through a set of headphones consists of different tones. The frequencies used for these tones are taken from the numbers that make up the coordinates of where the rocks and windows were found. An attempt to translate space and geographical location into sound, this piece examines different planes of space as they intersect each other.
