An immersive installation taking up an entire room built into a gallery. Using objects from around the Barras Market, many of which have stories and meaning to their owners, this artwork paints a portrait of the life of a seller at the market. Inspired from the houses that I visited while making friends and interviewing the locals, these rooms that I visited were full of history and personal stories. Played through headphones placed around the room were stories describing and bringing life to the objects.
